GERARDO E. HERNÁNDEZ LÓPEZ

Lawyer specialized in the areas of energy, contracts, corporate, agrarian, transactional matters, claims, litigation, dispute resolution and alternative dispute resolution methods, as well as corporate criminal liability, with extensive experience in the legal representation of companies involved in renewable energy generation projects, construction, and infrastructure. He also has experience working with both private and public entities such as the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), Pemex, among others.
His experience enables him to identify and focus on the most critical legal aspects that pose risks in projects, transactions, and litigation, in order to achieve clients’ specific objectives and meet their strategic goals.
He earned his Law Degree in 1997 and has completed various postgraduate programs and specializations in Legal English, Contracts, Energy Law, Digital Transformation for Lawyers, and a Master’s Degree in Private Law at renowned institutions such as UNITEC, Universidad Iberoamericana, and Universidad Anáhuac.
EDGAR J. NAVARRO MIGUEZ

Lawyer specialized in civil, commercial, labor, criminal, and administrative litigation, with extensive experience in appeals, and direct and indirect amparo proceedings, which allows him to litigate cases at various levels before competent authorities, both at the state and federal level.
With 25 years of experience, his practice and skill lie in identifying and focusing on the most critical risks in legal disputes, to achieve his clients’ concrete objectives and fulfill their broader strategic goals.
He earned his Law Degree in 1997 from the Universidad Tecnológica de México, completed a Postgraduate Degree in Labor Law, and obtained his Master’s Degree from the National Institute of Public Administration in 2000.

With over 25 years of experience in human resources and labor relations, he joins our law firm as a partner, bringing a comprehensive perspective on labor law from an employer and strategic standpoint. His background in companies across diverse sectors, such as manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and services, positions him as an expert in the prevention and resolution of labor disputes, aligned with our firm’s core services in comprehensive defense before Mexican labor authorities, including unjustified dismissals, representation in summonses and proceedings before entities such as the Federal Labor Defense Attorney’s Office (PROFEDET), Conciliation Centers, Conciliation and Arbitration Boards.
He holds a diploma in Strategic Human Resources Management from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, enabling him to provide specialized advisory services in labor audits, review of documentation pertaining to individual employment relationships (hiring, discipline, terminations, and sanctions), and strategies to mitigate legal risks. His experience encompasses the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) with unions such as CTM and CROC, payroll management, IMSS and Infonavit compliance, compensation, and the development of internal policies.
His key responsibilities at the Firm are: Labor Advisory and Defense, Audit and Regulatory Compliance, Labor Relations Management, Training and Organizational Development, Strategic Administration.
